Dr. David Avner

Grew up in Englewood, CO and was a Bruin at Cherry Creek High School before moving to the East coast to study Third World economic development and play soccer at Colgate University, NY. He received his MD at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident in emergency medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Guy Clifton

Served as an Aviator in the United States Navy from 1969-1974. He graduated from Duke University, NC in 1969 and Chicago Medical School, IL in 1980. He completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Denver Health from 1981-1983. He worked at other HealthONE hospitals from 1983-2003 and served as ED Medical Director at Swedish Medical Center from 2000-2003.

Dr. Kevin Collins

Relocated from Chicago, IL to help open Sky Ridge's new ED. He attended medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 1995. He completed training in Orthopedic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, IL in 1997 and in Emergency Medicine at SUNY Buffalo in 2001. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Dan Dobler

Graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1995 and completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH, in 1998. Since returning to his native Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, he has practiced Emergency Medicine in the HealthONE system. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Steve Heinz

President of the Medical Staff and Emergency Department Medical Director at Sky Ridge. Attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed a residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital, MI. Prior to Sky Ridge, he was an Emergency Physician at Rose Medical Center for 20 years, having served as the ED Medical Director for the last six.

Dr. Eric Lung

Comes to Sky Ridge from Brockton, MA where he has been working for the last year. He attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and trained in Emergency Medicine at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ.

Dr. Greg Stiller

Graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine in 1994. He completed a Surgery internship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and an Emergency Medicine residency and two fellowships at SUNY Buffalo. He was the Attending ED Physician for Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo and an ED Physician at the Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial.
